With a passion for real estate and technology, Matt helped to reinvent HawaiiLife.com and started Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers in May of 2008. Hawaii Life now employs over 170 brokers, agents, and support staff in 10 offices around Hawaii. In 2009, HawaiiLife.com won a WebAward for best real estate website. By 2010, just 30 months after opening its doors, Hawaii Life had become the #9 real estate company in all of Hawaii. In both 2010 & 2011, the company was nominated by Inman News as one of the Most Innovative Brokerages in the country.
By 2011, Hawaii Life was the #5 residential real estate brokerage in the State of Hawaii and was named the 3rd Fastest Growing Company in all of Hawaii by Pacific Business News. In 2012, Hawaii Life sold over $500 million in residential real estate throughout Hawaii. Matt has experience with condominium developments, multi-unit properties and high-end property sales. He has been confirmed by the Hawaii judicial system as an expert witness for multiple real estate-related legal cases in Hawaii. He is a graduate of the Hawaii Association of Realtors Leadership Academy, Class of 2010, and he has served as the President of the Kauai Board of Realtors (2012) and on the Executive Committee of the Hawaii Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Honolulu Board of Realtors, the Realtors Association of Maui, the West Hawaii Association of Realtors and the Hawaii Island Board of Realtors. In 2011, Inman News named Matt as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Real Estate.
